​Reduced Formaldehyde 
​

Formaldehyde is a colourless and pungent-smelling gas that is commonly found in building material and is found in higher concentrations in newly built or renovated homes. In general, formaldehyde will reduce over a period of time. However, this process can take months or even years. 

As formaldehyde level increases, some people might face breathing problems or irritation of the eyes, nose, throat, or skin.  Long-term exposure to high formaldehyde concentrations could lead to cancer. Currently, most building materials i.e. plywood and blockboard in the market have no formaldehyde rating, which means that the formaldehyde content could be many times above the safety limit.   

TACT utilises controlled formaldehyde blockboard  (E1 formaldehyde rating) as the core material, ensuring that the formaldehyde emissions are reduced as compared to some products in the market therefore also reducing the exposure to formaldehyde.

Improve Productivity and Quality

TACT Decorative Laminate Panels come pre-laminated in sizes of 2440mm x 1220mm x 18mm.

​They are designed to reduce the fabrication work and thus improve productivity which in turn reduces operational costs.

TACT Decorative Laminate Panels come with dual-sided lamination, by having similar surface materials and thickness on both sides. This creates a "balanced" board, which has proven to reduce warpage issues significantly.

Our Decorative Laminate Panels are supplied pre-laminated with state-of-the-art lamination machines allowing customers to process the board directly without going through the hassle of bonding the surface materials to the core.
